Manea Celebration

Published: 07 October 2019

Manea Parish Council are very excited to host an informal evening for the village to come together to celebrate and thank all of the great groups, clubs and organisations that add so much to the well being of our village. They, and the volunteers who run them, are truly the lifeblood of the village. Each group gives us the opportunity to socialise, keep fit, learn new skills and feel connected to other people living here.

Councillors will be in touch over the next few weeks with leaders of all the groups we know about to invite them to attend. To acknowledge the great work being done we are inviting groups to apply for small grants that are intended to help them 'grow'. If you are an established group/club and have a new project you want to try, or, you want to expand to include more members then please apply.

If you have an idea for a new group/club and just need a bit of help to get it started or, to test interest; then please speak to any of the Councillors and we will help you plan your application for consideration.

Everyone is welcome to attend the celebration, (you may be inspired to try something new) - the more the merrier.

Paper copies are available from your linked Cllrs - see contacts here.

Applications need to be submitted by 7th November. You can e-mail completed applications to clerk@manea-pc.gov.uk or hand paper copies to a Councillor.

Posters will be displayed around the village and applications forms can be downloaded here.
