MVAS

You may have noticed that the Mobile Vehicle Activated Sign (MVAS) halfway down Station Road is not working and hasn’t worked consistently for a while. We haven’t forgotten about it, but it has developed a fault which is proving tricky to resolve. A fully charged battery should last around ten days. Last time the battery was changed it lasted just under three hours.
Cllr David Payne has been working on repairing the unit. We are in touch with Morelock and the sign has already been back to them once for service and repair which did resolve the issue for a short time but unfortunately not permanently.
